Cílem c2c je oživit a zprostředkovat veřejnosti mezioborovou diskusi o současném vizuálním umění a kultuře.

Čeho chce c2c v nadcházejícím období dosáhnout?
Navázat a dále zprostředkovat co možná nejvíce kontaktů s kurátory, kritiky, umělci a institucemi doma i v zahraničí. Použít k tomu formu kulatých stolů, veřejných debat a webové komunikace. Chceme iniciovat a realizovat kulturní, výzkumné a vzdělávací projekty, včetně výstav a publikací, podporující všeobecný zájem o současné vizuální umění a odbornou diskusi o jeho vývoji.

Mohu se přidat?
Samozřejmě! Podnětem k založení c2c byla absence otevřené platformy pro diskusi o současném vizuálním umění a kultuře, zejména pak o problémech kritiky a kurátorství v mezinárodním kontextu. Čím více nových a rozdílných názorů zazní, tím lépe. Vítáme aktivní kurátory, kritiky či umělce-kurátory se zájmem o aktuální podoby umění a nové směry v kultuře, ale i další zájemce bez rozdílu „stavovské příslušnosti“, kteří chtějí přispět k oživení reflexe současného umění, k tematizaci jeho přesahových forem (do kontextů dnešní společnosti, ekonomie, vědy, médií a technologií) a v důsledku i k rozvoji umělecké produkce.

Galerie c2c je nekomerční prostor otevřený širokému spektru současného umění. Výstavní program je orientovaný především na české i zahraniční kurátorské výstavní projekty a prezentaci experimentálních, putovních a mezioborově zaměřených projektů. Galerie zároveň slouží jako zázemí pro jednorázové projekce, workshopy a přednášky spojené s aktivitami občanského sdružení c2c.
