The Jonathan Crossley Electric Band
Funk, blues and soul are the words that best describe Jonathan Crossley’s latest project, with just the thinnest spreading of jazz. The latest work is all original with kooky titles like, Eclectic Bland, MaaskKass and Boswell Silky. The grooves are simple and infectious, with a modern edge, brought in by Crossley’s angular guitar work.
Featuring: Jonathan Crossley (guitar), Renier Prins, Rodger Hobbs (bass), Janus van der Merwe (sax) and Peter Auret (drums).
The band has just completed it’s first album, featuring Jonathan, Peter Auret, Jonno Sweetman, Paul Gibbings and Martin Wolfhaart.
