Nemějte od Hobita příliš velká očekávání (31)

Nechť mě filmoví fanoušci rozcupují, ale návštěvu 3D Hobita, který u nás právě vstupuje do kin, byste měli určitě zvážit. Kdybych na něj chtěla někoho pozvat, určitě volím 2D verzi, u které vás celou dobu nebude rušit podivná (ne)ostrost a nemožnost uchopit obraz na plátně jako celek. Jinak se jedná o film, který neurazí, ale přílišná očekávání může nepříjemně schladit.

Film Hobit: Neočekávaná cesta je prvním dílem z chystané trilogie režiséra Petera Jacksona, který už s Tolkienovými příběhy má zkušenosti z trilogie Pán prstenů. První díl Pána prstenů v roce 2003 přišel jako zjevení a bezprostředně se stal filmovou senzací. Kdo by ale podobnou událost čekal od Hobita, který v toku vyprávění Pánu prstenů předchází, bude zklamaný.

Příběh hobita Bilba Pytlíka začíná retrospektivním vyprávěním Pytlíka jako starce, který chce svému synovci Frodovi (z následného Pána prstenů) předat své paměti, a tak je sepisuje. Snaha propojit oba příběhy a rozběhnout linii vyprávění k dalším dvěma chystaným dílům trilogie, je zjevná. Projeví se hned na začátku a podstatně také na konci, který se uzavírá popisným příslibem dějů budoucích.

Mužný král trpaslíků
Významné a všeříkající pohledy do očí a bitvy se skřety a zlobry. To jsou motivy, které se ve filmu mnohokrát vracejí. Doslovné a epické zfilmování na tak velkém prostoru, jakým bezesporu téměř tři hodiny filmového času jsou, by zasloužilo odlehčit. Rozvinout příběh a charaktery jednotlivých postav. Možná chtěl Jackson zůstat věrný onomu “velkému vyprávění“, které tolik ohromilo právě v Pánovi prstenů. V Hobitovi je ale spíš na škodu.

Precizní řemeslná filmařina, velkolepé efekty a triky nezabrání dojmu, že něco podobného tu už bylo. Nakonec, proč ne. Když se vykašlete na celý ten humbuk - premiéra minutu po půlnoci, 3D a jiná nej, můžete z kina odcházet celkem spokojení. První část příběhů o Hobitovi je slušně natočená adaptace, ke které můžeme mít spoustu výhrad z hlediska intepretace původního díla, ale jedno je jisté, jak to dopadne s tím drakem, chceme vědět všichni.
